สูตรที่ใช้
BOD₅ = ((D₁ - D₂) - f(B₁ - B₂)) / Pหมายเหตุ
- P = (Volume of Sample) / (Total Volume of Bottle)
- f = (Volume of seed in sample) / (Volume of seed in seed control)
- หากไม่ใช้เมล็ดเชื้อ (unseeded), ให้เว้นค่า B1, B2, และ f (หรือใส่เป็น 0)
- เกณฑ์ที่ยอมรับได้: DO depletion (D1-D2) ≥ 2.0 mg/L และ Residual DO (D2) ≥ 1.0 mg/L
